Deposit fees and prepayments are nonrefundable. However, if written notice is received at least 30 days prior to your canoe trip start date, the trip may be rescheduled for another date this season or the next. The deposit would be transferable for the same number of persons, length of trip, and package reserved that was in the cancelled reservation.
If a member of your group cancels, their deposit or prepayment is not refundable and nontransferable.
There are no refunds for complete or partially outfitted trips that end early, for canoes and equipment returned early, or for any unused food, transportation, or accommodations.
WCPP Permits are nonrefundable nor applicable to a future trip.

Sunset Canoe Outfitting is not liable for delays, cancellation or interruption of a trip caused by inclement weather, change of plans, medical reasons, ground or air shuttle delays or other reasons.
Travel insurance is available, advisable and may be purchased online. It may protect you against medical emergencies that may interrupt or cancel your trip.
We strongly advise arrival in Ear Falls the day prior to the start of your canoe trip.

Let Us Tell You About Ourselves

Hi, we are Andy and Amanda Powell. It is our love for the Canadian wilderness and its people that bring us back every summer to visit Pakuni Lodge (owned by Amanda's parents). These visits are filled with adventures, family and the great outdoors. It was these great experiences that birthed the idea of sharing our backyard accessibility with others; using Pakuni Lodge as a launching pad for Sunset Canoe Outfitting.
